Странная короткометражка о причудах и глупости религиозного догматизма, снятая арабским режиссёром во Франции. У Бальтазара умер дед, но так как ему в голову с пелёнок вбили бредни о прекрасной жизни в раю после смерти, он совершенно не понимает - почему все вокруг скорбят ибо деда теперь ждёт лучшая жизнь и нет причин для грусти и печали...
